Their leadership efforts have kept CT TyMetrix at the vanguard of the legal invoicing and performance metrics reporting industry.
John Weber General Manager
John Weber joined CT TyMetrix in 2001, and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2002 and General Manager in 2003. As general manager of CT TyMetrix, Mr. Weber has overseen the company's transition from start-up to the industry leader in legal e-billing, matter management and legal performance analytics. During his tenure, Mr. Weber has led development of strategies and solutions including CT TyMetrix' flagship product, CT TyMetrix 360º, the industry's leading unified solution for managing the business of law. Additionally, Mr. Weber is leading the integration and operations of Tripoint, another legal technology leader that was acquired by Wolters Kluwer in Oct. 2005.
Under Mr. Weber's leadership, CT TyMetrix has increased its top line by over 1000%, and its bottom line by over 15,000%. Based on these results, CT TyMetrix was twice named to Deloitte & Touche's Fast 50 in CT and Fast 500 in North America. In 2002, CT TyMetrix was recognized as the #1 fastest growing technology company in CT and #72 in North America for the five years ended December 31, 2001. CT TyMetrix was selected as a 2004 Connecticut Business Champion.
Prior to joining CT TyMetrix, Mr. Weber was Senior Trial Counsel and chairman of the Legal Technology function at the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, where he implemented the full suite of CT TyMetrix applications. Mr. Weber was also previously associated with the New York City law firm of Thatcher Proffitt & Wood.
Mr. Weber is an honors graduate of both The University of Notre Dame and the Boston University School of Law, where he was a Joseph G. Tauro Scholar. Mr. Weber is a frequent speaker on the topic of performance metrics and law department performance and a 2004 recipient of the prestigious "Forty Under 40" Award for the State of Connecticut.
David Gardner Chief Technology Officer
David Gardner joined CT TyMetrix as CTO in 2005. David is responsible for product development, security, quality assurance, and all technology platforms and infrastructure that support CT TyMetrix engagements. Prior to joining TyMetrix, he spent 12 years with Pitney Bowes, most recently serving as Managing Director of the Electronic Document Management Practice for Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies (DMT) division. While with Pitney Bowes, he worked in various product groups as well as R&D before joining DMT to lead the initial product development of its digital document delivery solution. As Chief Systems Architect, he led the implementation of over 20 electronic statement and bill payment systems. David has more than 10 years of experience creating web-based solutions, and was instrumental in developing and piloting a secure digital certificate for the Social Security Administration.
David holds eight patents, is a frequent conference speaker, has authored a book on computer programming, and has published articles on how organizations can adopt information technology tools to spur innovation. He earned a BS degree and an MS degree in computer science from the University of Kansas.
Faiz Ahmed Vice President, Insurance 
Faiz Ahmed is Vice President, Insurance at CT TyMetrix. Mr. Ahmed was previously a senior member of the insurance and claims practice at Navigant Consulting, where he directed projects and the firm's initiatives related to claims process improvement, claims technology review, litigation management, and insurance marketing and agency relationships. Mr. Ahmed also has extensive experience in the insurance and litigation management space as co-founder and CEO of VisiBillity, Inc., the industry's first collaborative claims litigation management solution. Under his leadership, VisiBillity sustained a base of 40,000 law firm and client users prior to the successful sale of the company in 2005. Prior to VisiBillity, Mr. Ahmed was a claims officer at GE Employers Reinsurance and an attorney at the law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events and an author of numerous articles published in several insurance industry publications.
Mr. Ahmed received his JD degree from Tulane University School of Law and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University

Craig Raeburn Vice President of Product Management

Craig Raeburn joined CT TyMetrix in 2002 and is the Vice President of Product Management. Mr. Raeburn has extensive knowledge and experience delivering high-end technology based solutions to law departments and insurance carriers. In his current capacity Mr. Raeburn is responsible for overseeing the CT TyMetrix product strategy, along with execution of our product priorities. In 2002, Mr. Raeburn started as Director of Client Services. During his tenure Craig has utilized his deep industry knowledge to help grow the company from a small start-up to the premier solutions provider of Matter Management, e-Billing and Business Intelligence technologies for Law Departments and Insurance Companies. Prior to joining CT TyMetrix Craig was the Vice President of ASP Services for Daticon, a litigation software and services company, where he was responsible for the development and launch of the companies ASP offering. Craig has also held various positions within Corporate Law Departments, Legal Service Providers and operated as an Independent Consultant serving the legal industry.
Matt DenOuden Vice President of Strategic Sales 
Matt was in private practice in the United States for ten years before becoming a legal technology consultant. He now leads the sales conversations and establishes relationships with CT TyMetrix' largest customers. Matt came to CT TyMetrix from O'Connell Flaherty and Atmore, a law firm in Hartford, Connecticut where he was a partner and National Coordinating Counsel for several Global 100 companies in the management of their product liability litigation. While practicing, he founded a technology company called E-DefendIT, which created and managed large databases of mission-critical defense information for his law firm's clients. Working with the CT TyMetrix Product Management Department, Matt facilitates law department peer groups and is a regular speaker and longstanding author focusing on using technology and the business intelligence it produces to manage the business of law. Since Matt came to TyMetrix in 2002, it has grown from having around half a dozen clients to more than 200.
